It’s that time of year again. Midterm exams are over (thank all that is holy) and everyone is visiting family and friends to celebrate our Lord’s birth and greet the New Year.
As a young kid, I always struggled with celebrating the Holidays in the right mindset. Though I was a Christian, it was just too easy to get swept up into thoughts on new things I would get or give to others. Now, the Holidays mean more sleep time to hang out with friends and family.
Recently, a girl in my small group mentioned what she thought the meaning of Christmas was. She said that it was ‘the beginning of the end of our sins’.
This is truly what we should be observing the interim between Christmas and Easter as.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
